# Cookie policy

This site uses no cookies. Here is what that means, and how our advertising service differs.

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-10-31 · Last updated 2026-10-31

## What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels, device identifiers — work the same way for privacy purposes, and this policy covers them all.

## What this site uses

**None.** www.ailumic.com sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser’s local or session storage, and loads no scripts, fonts, images or frames from other companies. There is no analytics and no advertising on this site. That is why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

The categories we would ask about if that ever changed:

- **Strictly necessary** — What the site needs to work and to remember a cookie choice once a choice is possible. The site currently needs nothing stored.
- **Analytics** — Counting visits and how pages are used, to improve the site. Not in use: the site has no analytics.
- **Advertising** — Measuring our own advertising campaigns or showing our ads elsewhere. Not in use: the site has no advertising tags.

## Cookie settings

The **Cookie settings** link at the foot of every page shows the same list and, if this site ever adds an optional category, is where you accept or refuse it — with “Reject all” as easy as “Accept all”, nothing pre-selected, and a Global Privacy Control signal treated as a refusal of advertising categories.

## Our advertising service

Our advertising service is different from this website. When it buys ads on other companies’ sites and apps, it may receive cookie IDs — including Google advertising cookies — and mobile advertising IDs from ad exchanges, and it may later set its own cookie on a separate domain to cap how often you see an ad and to remember an opt-out. Those identifiers are described in Part B of the [privacy policy](https://www.ailumic.com/privacy/#service), and you can opt out of interest-based advertising from Ailumic on the [opt-out page](https://www.ailumic.com/opt-out/).

## How to control cookies

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Deleting cookies also deletes any cookie-based opt-out, so you may need to opt out again afterwards. On phones, the operating system’s settings control the device’s advertising ID — see the [opt-out page](https://www.ailumic.com/opt-out/#device).
