Platform

# Bidding that never stops learning.

A demand-side platform built around one idea: the model that prices a bid should already know what the market just taught.

Status: in development — [where we are](https://www.ailumic.com/#status-title)

01

## Continuous learning

Advertising markets move by the hour: a publisher changes its layout, a competitor raises its bids, a holiday shifts who is online. A model retrained once a week prices today with last week’s market.

Ailumic’s models are designed to **update continuously from auction outcomes** — wins, losses, clearing prices, clicks and conversions — so the next bid is priced with what the market just taught. Each update is checked before it serves: a new model version is compared with the one serving, and one that predicts worse is not promoted.

### What the models predict

- **Value** — how likely this impression is to lead to the advertiser’s goal: a click, a sign-up, a purchase.
- **Price** — what the auction is likely to clear at, so the bid can be shaded below the value without losing the impressions worth winning.
- **Pace** — how fast to spend so a budget lasts the flight instead of the morning.

02

## Generative AI, with a person deciding

Generative AI will do the work around the bidder that today takes a media team days:

- **Planning.** From a one-paragraph brief, a drafted plan: inventory, goals, bid strategy, pacing.
- **Creative.** Variants of headlines and copy to test, generated from the advertiser’s own brand material. A person approves every creative before it runs, and generated creative is reviewed like any other.
- **Insight.** Results explained in plain language — what changed, why, and what to try next — with the numbers behind each sentence.

03

## The bidder

The bidding core is written in C++ on Ailumic’s own serving runtime, which runs today in several Google Cloud regions with its own release, logging and monitoring systems.

- **OpenRTB 2.6** is the protocol it is built to speak with exchanges.
- **The exchange’s deadline** (`tmax`) is respected on every request; the design target for Ailumic’s own decision is 10 ms or less inside our servers.
- **Checks in the request path**: consent and opt-out signals, supply-chain verification, brand-safety rules and frequency caps are applied before a price is computed, not afterwards.
- **Every bid is logged** — request, decision, outcome — so reports, billing and model training read one record.

04

## Measurement

Advertisers see spend, impressions, clicks and conversions per campaign, creative and supply source, reconciled with the exchanges’ own figures. Reports are aggregated; advertisers do not receive data about individual devices.

05

## Privacy engineering

- Raw logs are deleted after 90 days and detailed records after 13 months; only de-identified aggregates remain.
- Identifiers stay pseudonymous: they are never joined to names or email addresses.
- No targeting on sensitive categories or precise location, and none of anyone under 18.
- No bidding in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland until Ailumic is registered with IAB Europe’s Transparency & Consent Framework.
